Killer Heels: The Technique Workshop

Killer Heels is proud to present Killer Heels: The Technique Workshop!

This 3 hour workshop will focus on heels technique and foundations. It is open for for all levels of dancers from novice to advance.  There is something for everyone to take away.

Dancers will start class with heart pounding warmup that will focus on increasing our heart rate, flexibility, and engaging  our muscles. Following the warmup dancers will be taken through a series of small center floor work exercises that focus strictly on technique . Next, dancers will then swap into their heels and work on some center floor exercises applying the previous skills from the warmup.  Lastly, dancers will learn a series of across the floor combinations that incorporate technique and performance! Across the floors consists of walks, runaway, turns, creating lines and shapes, musicality, hair-ography, and much more! The goal for this workshop is for dancers to gain confidence and trust in yourself as dancer.
